Candice MARQUISS

Managing director of Candice Conway Theatre School and Candice Conway Theatre Camps LTD I.S.T.D - FDI

Candice started performing from the age of three in her local dance school shows, Hadley Highstone dance academy, around this time she acquired a love for tap dancing. By the age of nine she had sung in the Royal Albert hall with the Raymond Guppy choir. Realising Candice had raw singing talent her parents decided to send her to private singing lessons where she was classically trained and took singing exams.

Richard Marquiss

Managing Director of Candice Conway Theatre School and Candice Conway Theatre Camps LTD. Drama specialist and LAMDA coach

Richard started performing from the age of 12 in his home town of Lancashire, gaining a scholarship to attend the Millington’s Dance Academy. At the age of 20 Richard swapped the northern air for the big smoke to Train further. His professional credit include:  “Old Lady” in a national theatre tour of “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly”, Commercials, one of which was for the London Dungeons, “America’s Big Taste” McDonalds and most recent to air ITV’s “Check Your Chaps”,  featured in music videos, voice overs and has toured the UK in various children’s shows. 

Richard decided to give the performing side a break to open and run Candice Conway Theatre School and Candice Conway Theatre Camps Ltd.

Megan Ratcliff

Megan has been performing ever since she was a toddler, starring in short films and in the West End. Megan graduated from her postgraduate degree as a Secondary School Drama & English teacher. Megan has been specialising in Drama ever since she left college and knew it was a passion that she wanted to share with the younger generations. In which she completed her undergraduate degree in Drama, Performance and Applied Theatre. Megan regularly performed to communities where she is able to help less fortunate people through the use of drama! Megan has been working for the Candice Conway Theatre School for 7 years now, and can honestly say it has been the most rewarding and exciting time of her life. Where we have all become like one big family! She has now taken a step ahead in her career and owns her own theatre school - Jigsaw Barnet

Kairen is currently a qualified primary school teacher with BED degree, previous qualification in childcare and education and nursery experience. Karien is also a fully trained paediatric first aider and safeguarding assistant lead.

Gemma wray

Gemma is an actress and singer with a wealth of experience and an MA from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She works in children’s theatre and when not performing she teaches acting to children from ages 3-18. Gemma worked at the London Dungeon with Richard where they became friends (just like you all make friends at camp too!). Candice invited Gemma to teach at camp for one day and she’s been here ever since because she loves it. Gemma loves what she does and can’t wait to work with everyone at CCTC.

chloe squires

Head of Dance - CCTC LTD 
 
Chloe has been performing for over 21 years and graduated from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2018 with a degree in dance.
After graduating, Chloe went on to become a performer for TUI Magic Life hotels in Turkey, Italy and Crete. She performed in 7 shows and taught many different styles of fitness classes. Some of her other performances include Phyllis Foster in Mack and Mabel at LIPA, main dancer/model for the House of Suarez: Sun, Moon and Stars vouge performance and entertainer with Broadland Sands Holiday Team.
Chloe also has lots of experience with teaching, starting at the dance school she grew up in and then continuing into Cambridgeshire and London. She has taught a range of different styles for children age 2+ all the way up to adults and loves seeing the children develop in confidence and skill.

Chloe is thrilled to be back after a few years break at the Candice Conway Theatre Camps!
