“Do something that challenges you everyday, and the world won’t seem like such a scary place.”

I’m currently in my second year at East 15 Acting School, studying BA Acting and Community Theatre. I specialise in facilitation, and leading workshops for all ages and all types of people. I’m an experienced performer and studied musical theatre for 10+ years, training in classical and contemporary music and acting, modern, tap, ballet, jazz and commercial dance. I’ve been teaching and assisting for the last five years, and thrive off helping others develop their confidence and creative skills. I strive to make theatre inclusive for everyone.

FAQs

What should my child bring?

Please ensure your child brings:

- A named bottle of water

- Appropriate dance shoes

- The correct uniform, which can be purchased via the link on our website. If you are attending a trial session only, please can your child wear a plain black t-shirt, plain black shorts/leggings, plain black trainers/plimsolls/school shoes

What should we wear to class?

To support high standards of technique and discipline, appropriate grooming and correct uniform are essential in all classes.

All students are required to wear the official CCTS uniform, which includes: CCTS theatre school t-shirt (compulsory)
Black leggings, black tracksuit bottoms or jazz pants
Black jazz shoes Uniform items can be ordered via our website:
https://www.printmybrands.com/ccts

Orders can be arranged for collection or delivery. Please note that only the CCTS t-shirt is a required purchase from us – other items may be sourced elsewhere, provided they meet the requirements.

For students trying out our club or those unsure about continuing for future terms, there is no pressure to purchase the full uniform straight away. Plain black alternatives are perfectly acceptable.

Can parents stay and watch?

We operate a no parent policy during regular classes to help children build confidence and independence.

However, parents will be invited to attend our end of term showcase. Please note that we may not hold a showcase every term, but we’ll always let families know in advance if one is planned.

Do I need to stay during the class?

There’s no need to wait. We have your emergency contact details, so feel free to run errands or enjoy some free time.

What is my child working towards?

We are excited to confirm that we’ll be performing at The Radlett Centre in July. All students will take part in one of three spectacular shows, showcasing their progress and talent.

Participation in the show is completely optional. Children are warmly welcome to join and continue classes across the Autumn, Spring or Summer terms whether or not they wish to perform in the show.

Do I need to complete a booking form?

Yes, please complete the online booking form prior to your child attending their first class. This ensures we have all the necessary contact and medical information on file.
